~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Greetings from Dr. Sharon Price, PhD., CN.
ARE YOU COPPER TOXIC?
Copper is a necessary and crucial element in the body, but out of balance, or unbound, can cause many problems.  Some signs of copper toxicity are:
  • Acne
  • Stress
  • Allergies
  • Anxiety, Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • PMS - Hormonal Imbalance
  • Mind racing
  • Spaciness
  • Mood swings
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Viral Infections
  • Yeast infections
A Good Example Of a Clinical Indicator For Copper Toxicity
Not long ago, I received an email from a friend.  She says,  "Last weekend I was pretty stressed with some stuff, but also, I started using this hair brush that had copper on it... supposed to help my scalp.  Starting Sunday night, I got some red bumps on my face.  Now more have come and I have bumps all over my face.  Kind of looks like the remnants of adult acne or something.  I'm thinking it is either due to stress or I'm allergic to copper.  Do you have any suggestions...?"
Hair analysis is perhaps the only test that can determine if you are copper toxic.  Copper is a vital mineral needed by the body, but unbound (or free) copper is toxic to the body.  Copper can become unbound if glands and organs are not functioning properly.  Cosmetic manufacturers are now adding copper as a 'benefit' to their products.  However, my suggestion is that if you have any of the above symptoms, first get a hair analysis before using these products.  You may be adding fuel to the fire!
Addressing copper toxicity and other root cause issues can restore your sense of emotional and physical well-being.  A hair mineral analysis will help determine further imbalances, including other toxic heavy metas.
