FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear Families,    
   I wish you all the peace and joy of the holiday season.
  On Dec 8 & 10,  we are  celebrating the story of Jesus' birth at Chapel--what a joyous story to tell again and again.  Our children dress up, but the Chapel service is not a pageant. Everyone is a part of the story.  
   I would like to extend a special invitation to attend the UCP Family Christmas Eve services at 5:00 pm on December 24.

The Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  The Preschool is inspected by Fairfax County Health Department and voluntarily complies with Virginia Standards for Child Day Programs, but holds a Religious Exemption to Licensing from the VA Department of Social Services.  The school voluntarily complies with all VA licensing standards which can be found at

Mandy Lloyd will present these next two sessions in our evening series.  Jane Plum presents the morning sessions.  Please come, even if you didn't come to the earlier sessions.  We ask for a $10 contribution for the cost of each program, but no one will be turned away for lack of the fee.

Great idea: Some families are sending one parent to the evening session and the other attends in the morning.
CHRISTMAS SHOPPE--An Annual Favorite at UCP
Sunday, December 13, 2-4 pm 
 
The children are invited to come shop at the UCP Children's Christmas Shoppe on December 13th. It is a fun way for children, age 4 yrs through 6th grade, to shop for their parents, grandparents, etc. Come anytime between 2:00 and 4:00. Youth "elves" will assist the children as they shop, wrap gifts, and decorate cookies. There will be storytelling for the children as they wait their turn to shop. A special space for parents will be available as they wait for the shoppers as well.

T-shirts can be purchased in the Preschool office.  The cost is $8 for short-sleeve and $12 for long-sleeve.

CHURCH ACTIVITIES
Sundays
8:30 and 11 am - Worship services with child care at both services and at 11am there is Godly Play for children ages 4-7. 
9:50 am. - Sunday School for all ages
 
Christmas Eve
The service at 5:00 pm is designed especially for families.
There is also a service at 9:00 pm.
