NACCHO's HIV/STI Prevention "Tool or Model Practice of the Week"

This week's featured tool from the HIV/STI Toolkit is the Patient-Administered Sexual History Questionnaire, developed by the California Department of Health Services. This tool is designed to assist providers in conducting a sexual history to promote an open dialogue between patients and providers.

The Kaiser Family Foundation has released the results from a survey analyzing states Medicaid and CHIP programs. Results are available here.
Webinar: Biomedical HIV Prevention- What is it and What Does it Mean for Women and Youth?

AIDS ribbon, 2 handsOn February 5 at 1:00 PM EDT, AIDS Alliance/The AIDS Institute will host a webinar on Biomedical HIV prevention. During the webinar, you will learn what is currently known about biomecial HIV prevention, what is being investigated as part of current or planned research, and what may be the impact and usefulness of biomedical HIV prevention strategies for women and youth/young adults living with and at risk for HIV. This webinar is free and is intended for community members, peer educators, and other staff in community based organizations and HIV clinics.
