Shelby Finds a Home
Shelby, a six-year-old Border Collie mix, came to the Kentucky Humane Society with a large wound and an exposed bone in her front leg. The wound was severely infected, and veterinarians determined that her limb could not be saved. After her leg was amputated, Shelby spent a month in foster care where she learned how to get along on three legs. This sweet dog was adopted this weekend by a Feeders Supply employee, who couldn't resist her beautiful eyes and gentle nature.

Shelby was able to be treated and adopted because of the kindness and generosity of our supporters, like you. But there are more Shelby's out there, waiting for our help, and we can't do this without you! Please give today.

KHS Offers Day Training
With our hectic schedules, sometimes dog training falls by the wayside. That's why KHS offers day training, an innovative program where an insured trainer comes to your home and trains your dog for you while you're at work.

Day training is an excellent way to address obedience issues such as jumping on guests, darting through doors, stealing food and more. Day training starts at $200 for a four-lesson package and discounts are available for packages of eight or more lessons. Want to learn more? Call 502-253-2883 or email [email protected]
