5:30 p.m. Wednesday March 9 Emergency vehicles race up Beachwood and Westshire. Fire Trucks and Rescue Vehicles responded to a report of a brush fire in our hills. Fire helicopters circled overhead. A few minutes later, they began to leave one by one. A call to the Fire Dispatch Unit resulted in the news that someone's fire place was sending smoke up. Someone called it in as a possible brush fire. The person answering the phone says that this was a false alarm but whenever they get a call of a brush fire in our hills, this is how they will always respond! Much gratitude!
