Horse Rescue in Progress

Helicopters are circling and upper Beachwood is illuminated to aid in the rescue of a horse caught in a ravine up on the trail. All horses have been brought down off trail to make way for the vet, park rangers and other emergency services. Hoisting gear headed up onto the trails now. 

Hold a good thought for the horse and the rider.
