Events abound. There's a holiday comedy show right down at Tailwaggers tomorrow night and more events to fill up your calendar. What an amazing holiday season! Enjoy!

If you know of a local event or party, please share. If you're in a play, your movie is screening, you're proud of something you're doing, send it on to BeachwoodCanyon@sbcglobal.net and we'll do our best to get the word out.

Neighbor Performs in a Play NOW till December 15th

Westshire's own Annie Hall performs in a play: FLARE PATH by Terrance Rattigan.

Written by British playwright Sir Terence Rattigan and first staged in 1942, Flare Path is a moving story of love and loyalty, courage and fear, based on Rattigan's own experiences as a tail gunner in WWII. The play follows Royal Air Force bomber pilot Teddy, who's celebrating a reunion with his wife Patricia. Little does Teddy know that Patricia's old flame, a Hollywood film star, is also a guest at the same hotel. When an urgent bombing mission over Germany is ordered, an emotional conflict forms, as unpredictable as the war in the skies. Annie Hall plays Mrs. Oakes, keeper of the hotel.

Westshire Max Needs a Forever Home

Max is a 6-year-old neutered male German Shepherd. He's great with children but not good with small dogs or cats. He's got a great temperament, sweet and not at all aggressive.

He has to find a forever home because, 1) his owners are allergic to his dander so he has lived outdoors his whole life, and, 2) they work away from home and this guy cries for them at sunset. The owners are sensitive to the needs of this neighborhood and are looking for a better fit for their dear Max.

Maybe someone out there wants a companion dog and is able to be around him often. Could be that this new owner can take him for a walk to get some exercise. Could that person be YOU?

Beachwood Cafe
Why not wander into into the Cafe and have a meal and conversation with any one of the many neighbors you will run into? This IS family!

In days gone by, most neighbors would meet spontaneously in the local cafe and visit about all manner of neighborhood issues. We can do it again.
