Secret Stair Climb a Success!

Three teams toured 5 of the 6 Secret Stairs last Sunday. At the end of each tour, the participants stopped at the Beachwood Cafe for their discounted Basil Mint Lemonade. It was a wonderful and joyous experience. Next time, we will walk ALL six of the northern Beachwood Secret Stairs. We are making plans to walk the three or more staircases in southern Beachwood, as well. Stay tuned for the next group hike of the Secret Stairs!

Historic Beachwood!

It was 1945 around 3335 Deronda Drive.

This photo was taken by the family of Lars Pointer. Lars lives in Montana now but lived at 3335 Deronda across from Dino Williams and his family until he was in his 30's. He went to Cheremoya, LeConte, and Hollywood High. He heard about Dino and sent this photo along as a gift in honor of Dino Williams.
