Hello Orchardistas!!

A quick blast to say we are adding a special guest specialist for tomorrow's Farmer's Circle -- Alex Silber of Papaya Tree Nursery. He is our supplier for 15 of the Seven Varieties of trees we will plant for Dig-in. He'll talk about all seven varieties, the flavors of the fruit, and recipes. We will have one tree of each variety for the show and tell.

AND, our guests from the new Orchard Supply Hardware store are coming to support us tomorrow. Caroline, the manager, some of her co-workers and an irrigation specialist from the store that will do a show and tell about the latest in low-water irrigation.

THIS COULDN'T COME AT A BETTER TIME:  We are facing a historic drought - caring for our trees is what will help filter the increase in dust and cool the temperature. Our Dig-in expansion of the Virtual Orchard needs YOU!
