Hollywood Orchard brings you Part 2 of the Farmer's Circle "Dig-In!"

Lack of rain means the tree canopy is in jeopardy, air quality suffers, cooling capacity of trees (10 degrees) is reduced.  

 

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER:  

 

Irrigation Specialist from the new Orchard Supply Store!

 

Dig-In is our project to do a pilot planting of 15 trees (a collaboration with Orchard Supply Hardware). Find out how we are organizing work crews to get the job done. All are invited, even if you've never participated in any previous Hollywood Orchard activities.

 

Coffee and some treats at 9 a.m., then some hands-on activities.

Cheremoya School Tour

 

Our first campus tour of 2014 is upon us and it promises to be a great one!  Many area families have toured already, and many are enrolling next year.  Don't miss your spot!

• Meet current and future parents, and all of us that make up the Cheremoya Family -- see what all the BUZZ is about at our fine little school "on the hill".
• Meet Principal Michelle Gorsuch. Visit classrooms. Have some morning goodies.
• Thursday tours are PERFECT!  Many of the wonderful Cheremoya Foundation funded programs that are offered at the school will be in full view.

Please arrive at 9:15 a.m. (for the tour) and sign in with Gladys in the front office.

• We will all gather in the newly renovated main hallway, have some coffee, and be on our way.

Interested (future) and current Cheremoya parents and community members -- Why at 8:30am you ask?

• CF takes great pride in alternating monthly meetings (AM/PM) to accommodate all working schedules.
• Come and learn about the roll-out of our new G.A.T.E (gifted and talented) Program, updated budget numbers, Phase II Restoration results, and more!
