Trash Pick Up Report

Happy Saturday, Westshire neighbors. As we all know, our block gets its fair share of coyote traffic. Yesterday was trash day and, for some reason, our black cans didn't get picked up. Our overloaded trashcans became coyote cuisine. Wildlife can be sloppy and they left all kinds of trash on the street.

Help is on its way! The city will be sending out a special truck to our street on Monday but no later than Tuesday. We are to leave our cans out on the street until they come to empty them.

Here's the challenge: Let's try to secure our trashcans so that the coyotes don't come back for seconds. Maybe bungee cords? If there is extra trash in your black bin, maybe bag it and hide it in your garage or away from our wildlife till Monday am. Then, just put the trash back in the cans on Monday am.

Have a great weekend, neighbors!
