Breaking News! Helo Pilots Plan to Crowd the Room Tonight! Please Attend and be Early!
Update: Here's what the Professional Helicopter Pilots Association broadcasted to their members and know that we must pay attention and do the same (arrive early!):
"Also very important - COME EARLY TO GET IN -- Come about an hour early, we suggest no later than 6:00 p.m. and earlier if you can, to insure that you are able to get a seat inside the meeting room Wells Fargo theater. We've visited the Autry National Center (and Museum) and reconnoitered the Wells Fargo Theater: there are 199 seats. We need to fill at least half of them or more. We can be sure that the HOA folks will be there EN MASSE. Think of the Berman hearing last year which attracted 300 attendees!most all of whom were concerned homeowners asking for regulations of on helicopter traffic."
By "HOA folks", they mean neighbors who are impacted daily by pilots' lack of considerate navigation of the air space above our homes. Let's be there really early tonight and show them how their flying affects our lives!
