Marketing Tip of the Week
Marketing Intelligence:  Promotion.  It's best to share marketing & advertising expenses with other businesses and promote together.  Wherever there are people interested in diving, you should be out there marketing.  Boat Shows, Dive Shows, Adventure Travel Shows. Dive Stores should consider teaming up with manufacturers, training agencies or travel wholesalers.

Juan Canche Koh Memorial Fund:  Fundraising Extended to end of year.  Juan Canche was involved in a fatal accident while filling scuba tanks in Cozumel on August 26, 2014.  The Dive Industry Foundation established a Memorial Fund for Juan's final expenses and raised $300.  The Foundation would like to thank the generous donors for thinking of Juan's family in their time of grief. Juan's Memorial Fund will continue until December 31, 2014 for dive industry professionals wishing to contribute.  Read more
