Kesher Newsletter - September 2016
Dear Kesher families,
I am still feeling excited from our community picnic on August 21 - what an incredible event! We estimate that 400-500 people were in attendance throughout the morning (far beyond what we anticipated) and we have received wonderful feedback from many of you, both in person and on social media. For those who were there, thank you so much for your participation. Your presence contributed to the overall success and spirit of the day. I hope you enjoyed the various activities and other offerings, as well as the opportunity to meet South Pen families and many of Kesher's community partners. If you have questions about any of the organizations or their programs for youth and families, please don't hesitate to contact me. For those of you who missed the picnic, don't worry - we plan to make it an annual event!
For the third year in a row, we have joined forces with local congregations to offer Kesher families a special promotion for the High Holy Days. Discounted tickets ($36) to HHD services are available to families who would like to visit participating synagogues for the first time. Keep an eye out for an upcoming email with additional details and remember to follow us on Facebook for updates. If you would like assistance in choosing a congregation that would be a good match for your family, I am here to help. This year Rosh HaShana begins on Sunday evening, October 2nd.
Enjoy,
Ronit
