It's been a busy few weeks at Jewish LearningWorks. We spent an evening learning about constructive conflict with 30+ partners and 600 of our closest friends at the Feast of Jewish Learning. If you attended and have not filled out a survey, we'd love to get your feedback.

The next day, our Jewish Community Library hosted 100 participants for The Jewish Chicken Ranchers of Petaluma.
Across the Bay Bridge,
our Integration of the Arts Initiative led a successful professional development workshop for educators, Enchanted Journey with Piyut.  Twenty two educators learned how to teach Piyut (an ancient Jewish art combining prayer, poetry and music) from Jewish LearningWorks master educator Vavi Toran and Rabbi Tzipora Gabai.

This past weekend, our Embodied Jewish Learning Initiative hosted a sold-out Weekend Women's Retreat led by Julie Emden with support from graduates from our Yoga and Jewish Wisdom teacher training. We're so proud to partner with the PJCC's Jewish Wellness Initiative, which just received the Kol Ha Kavod JCC Association Biennial Excellence Award.

Exploring the World of Judaism held a compelling lecture on the Dead Sea Scrolls in Los Gatos. In Novato and San Francisco we connected teen educators and adult learners respectively to important and enduring concepts through the lens of the Holocaust.  Meanwhile, in Palo Alto, we prepared a group of teens for their study tour of Poland and Israel before they leave on Shalhevet - our teen leadership development collaboration with the OFJCC.

So often, our work is behind the scenes, in small groups, and 1:1, in synagogues, classrooms, board rooms and offices. This month, we invite you to join us for one of our many public programs to experience the depth and breadth of what Jewish LearningWorks has to offer.  There is something for everyone.
