USC Price School of Public Policy
Alumni in Action
Dear Price Alumni,

Last week, the Price School's Bedrosian Center on Governance and the Public Enterprise hosted an exceptional Leading from the West event, featuring Dr. Condoleezza Rice and USC Athletic Director Pat Haden

Hosted in partnership with the USC Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, the event was moderated by Dr. Raphael Bostic, Director of the Bedrosian Center, and focused on the state of governance in college sports and its impact on student-athletes.

Over three hundred guests attended the event, including many Price School alumni. We are pleased to host these wonderful events for the Price community, giving our alumni access to some of the nation's top thinkers and policy makers of our day.

As always, thank you for your support of the Price School.

Sincerely,

Jack H. Knott

Dean

INVESTING IN PRICE
A workshop participant shares her community planning project
To increase diversity among the next generation of urban planners, the Master of Urban Planning program hosts a series of two-day workshops designed to introduce under-represented minority students to the planning profession. Through the Diversity in Planning Summer Workshop, the Price School hosts panel discussions focused on the ways in which planners work to address issues of economic opportunity, social justice, sustainability and infrastructure at the local and regional level. A gift of any amount will help support two summer workshops, both of which will serve approximately 25 undergraduate students.
