Last year over 650 volunteers at St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity donated over 17,000 hours of their time to help change lives.  We have opportunities available for all skill levels at the Eco-Village worksite, at the ReStore in  New Richmond  and starting this spring and with our anticipated "Brush with Kindness" rehab program we will have even more opportunities to help change lives. Volunteer today! What better way to start the new year than volunteering. Contact us now at 715.425.5623

St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity has already helped 86adults and 178 children within our 58 quality homes in local cities throughout the St. Croix and Pierce Counties and also supported construction of 41 homes internationally.

Thank you, community, volunteers, and family partners, for all the support in the past year. You have made building safe, decent, affordable homes a reality in our community.

Staff of the Month
Andy Scheiderer- ReStore Manager

Andy joined SCVHFH in March 2010 to create and manage the New Richmond HFH ReStore.

Opening six weeks later, the 10,000 square foot store has grown steadily month by month with the help of many dedicated volunteers, a visionary committee and a staff of four.  Andy's educational background is in philosophy and law, along with career adventures in farming, golf and business ownership have resulted in the perfect combination of helping customers enjoy their shopping experience, and providing funding to build affordable housing in Pierce and St.Croix counties.

Stop in the ReStore in New Richmond to say hello. The hours are Tuesday-Friday 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

Volunteer of the Month
Dave Meier- President

Dave, an Air Force Veteran, worked for Andersen Windows for 30 years and became familiar with Habitat for Humanity through the partnership the two organizations have with eachother. In 2006, Dave became involved with Habitat for Humanity to help with the Katrina rebuilding. Later in 2006 Dave started regularly volunteering with the St Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity. Since 2008, Dave has been a part of the Board of Directors and has held an officer role each year. He currently is serving his third year as president.

Dave is a member of the ReStore committee and helped get the New Richmond ReStore started. He was involved in the grand opening, April 10, 2010. He also helps at the Eco-Village build sites and occasionally will join the Monday Build Crew.

Thank you for all of your hard work!
