Safety Improvements
We have been relentless in our quest for safety improvement at all of our locations and have achieved significant improvements since 2011 in three areas (lower numbers are better):
>Recordable Incident Rate - In 2011 we recorded 6.68 and YTD 2013 we are currently at 2.1
>Lost Time Incident Rate - In 2011 we recorded 2.92 and YTD 2013 we are currently at 1.1
>Total Recordable Incident Rate - In 2011 we recorded 9.61 and YTD 2013 we are currently at 3.2
All three are better than the published Mining Equipment Industry Data for the past two years.
As of Monday, May 13, our Belleville Plant has gone 453 days since its last Lost Work Day Accident and our Cuyahoga Falls Plant has gone 109 Days. |

Belleville Office & Facility Expanision
Because our Belleville, IL office workforce has grown 48% since 2010 and the existing office space has not been renovated in over 30 years, we have started exploring a new two-story, 9,000 sq. ft. attached office building expansion project to address current and future needs.
The expansion also includes renovating the existing plant offices, reorganizing the interior layout to optimize space and update the furniture, and removing the two houses to add much needed parking.
This project has been made possible in part by Illinois EDGE credits and special grants from the state. Site preparation has begun, and the total project is slated to be complete by October 1. |
