Louisville International Ranked No. 7 in the World
Airports Council International (ACI) has finalized its worldwide ranking of the busiest cargo airports for calendar year 2012. The Louisville International Airport (SDF) moved up two spots to seventh on the list and maintained its position as the third busiest cargo airport in North America.

TSA Pre✓™Application Center Opens
TSA has opened its first TSA Pre✓™ application site at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and online pre-enrollment program at www.tsa.gov. Travelers accepted in the TSA Pre✓™ expedited screening program may not have to remove their 3-1-1- liquids, shoes, belt, light outerwear jackets or laptops from their carry-on luggage.
Applicants may complete the online pre-enrollment process at www.tsa.gov and then visit the application center at IND to provide biographical information, fingerprints, payment and valid identification and citizenship/immigration documentation. The application fee is $85 per person for a five-year membership. For more information about the TSA Pre✓™application process, visit www.tsa.gov.
Renovations Complete
Patrons are now able to pick-up and return their rental vehicles to the newly renovated rental car quick-turn-around (QTA) lot, which recently reopened on the terminal's west side. The project expanded rental vehicle parking by more than 50 percent, added new fuel and vacuum islands, a state-of-the-art car wash and enhanced parking controls and security measures.
The airport's Credit-Card-Only Lot, which was temporarily reconfigured during the construction, has resumed normal operations on the terminal's east side. Travelers can take advantage of this lot's close proximity the terminal for $13 per day.
New La Tapenade Location
The Louisville International Airport has expanded its food-and-beverage offerings with the opening of a second La Tapenade, a convenient grab n' go snack kiosk, on Concourse B. The kiosks are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ambassador Program Celebrates Nine Years The Louisville Regional Airport Authority's Airport Ambassador Program recently celebrated its ninth anniversary. The program's 76 volunteers staff the Information Booth to welcome and assist patrons of the Louisville International Airport 365-days-a-year, including holidays such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Hours for the Information Booth are listed below:
