The BAER Fit SICSA 2016, "Lift Your Leg" run

SICSA's LIFT YOUR LEG
 
Lift a hand by lifting your leg! SICSA's Lift Your Leg is a chip-timed 10K and 5k, and fun 1-mile walk aimed at promoting the welfare and adoption of companion animals.

This is one of our favorite groups, SICSA. You get to bring your dogs and run / walk together for a very great cause.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 4th, check-in at 7:30am, at Centerville High School.
Not only will you get to have a great time, you will also being helping to save strays and find them homes. For joining, SICSA will also give you a great shirt.
You will also get one of Summer Swifts original
designs, done for the BAER Fit team. on a great tee-shirt. (the design is above)

Why Juice Plus?
Some of you may have already seen several posts by a few of us Baer's about a product called Juice Plus. And some of you may or may not have read or explored these posts. I'm writing this article to tell you YOU SHOULD! Very rarely do any of us at Baer push one product or another unless it is something that 1: we have researched, 2: we have or are taking ourselves, and 3: we know it NOT to be a gimmick. At Baer, we are all firm believers in eating a nutritious, well-balanced diet. That being said, we also realize that the majority of us (and this goes for us trainers as well) are not getting the daily recommended amount of vegetables and fruits. 7-13 cups of fruits and veggies is a considerable amount and I'm willing to bet that everyone reading this article doesn't hit that magic number. So, what do we do to help fill the gap of produce we are missing? JUICE PLUS!! So, this answers our, Why Juice Plus?
 
What is Juice Plus?
What exactly is Juice Plus? Is it an actual juice? No. Is it a vitamin? No. Juice Plus is a whole food based nutrition capsule. TWO of them this time?!

 We NEVER plan to fail, we just FAIL TO PLAN! Now, just like almost everything else, there is a website that can help! It's called "Plan to Eat" (plantoeat.com). EVERYONE has a hard time either planning "what's for dinner," finding their favorite recipes (or finding new ones because they're just tired of all the old stuff), scaling those recipes so they match the number of servings needed, and then organizing their shopping list so that everything is on hand! They offer a FREE (really) 30 DAY TRIAL (no credit card required!) if you are interested in checking it out! As they say, "Dinner HAPPENS every night...BE READY!" ....................

Remember What's Important

    I'm so proud of all our Baer Family, you have been setting goals in which you are meeting or exceeding and that's great! Kudos! Continue to set goals and work hard to reach them. While on your fitness journey I want you to keep in mind what is really important. Most people are motivated by a certain look, number on the scale, or dress size, all of which are good things to strive for, but what does it matter if we are not healthy, happy, and whole.

    Your main concern when it comes to anything should be your health! You can't enjoy the other benefits if you are sick or weak. Eat well balanced and clean. You should never..............
