Real Truth about Fat Loss

I've been researching our digestive tract listening to some of my clients complain that they can't seem to get rid of their fat. I've come up with some interesting facts so read on and glean what you can for yourself.

A 2004 study done at the University of Louisiana Medical Center by Dr. George A. Bray linked High Fructose Corn Syrup (H.F.C.S.) to the rising rate of obesity in the United States.

H.F.C.S. is 20 times sweeter than sugar

Listen up!!!! ............STRESS

Many of you know my background and my consistent eagerness to learn as much as possible about hormones and the imbalances that can occur. I have had several clients who have recently been upset, because they are not seeing the results from their diet and exercise programs that they thought they should. Many of these clients have also complained and expressed extreme negative thoughts about their work, children's activities, lack of sleep and personal issues within their own lives......

Recovering from A Run

If you are a runner, or an aspiring runner this is the article for you. One of the more difficult things for runners is knowing when to take a break. Let's say you have had an awesome, high mileage week of running. Now it is the end of the week, and you are finding yourself to be tired, grumpy, overly sore and ready to eat everything and anything in sight. Sound familiar? Yes? Well high mileage is hard. Hard on the knees, the hips, the muscles, the mood, etc.

Out of Control!!!.....?

Did you EVER just have ONE OF THOSE days...weeks...months...years? Believe me, the more I work with different clients, the more I realize, EVERYONE has gone through that time in their life!

And I want you to know, Linda Cook, CONTROL FREAK, does not deal with it well when it happens to ME! Last year, as most of you know, I went through a very painful (and sleep deprived) experience with venous stasis ulcers in my lower left leg. The condition, as well as the pain, all started with surface blood clots in the peripheral veins of that leg,.
