The BAER Christmas Party
Yes the holiday times are coming. Just 6 weeks till Christmas and only 3 weeks till the annual BAER FIT CHRISTMAS PARTY.

Thanksgiving is this week, and the start of the holiday season. Yes we do want all of you to stay healthy and don't overeat. But what is more important is that we acknowledge and be thankful for the blessings we all have. Sometimes we forget and take for granted our families, friends, jobs, health and even our country. So this Thanksgiving I ask that you all bow your head and give thanks for what He has blessed us with. Now let's get this season underway. Charles

Also check out the info about our upcoming annual Christmas party. It is open to everyone, not just members, and it's just to share the joy.

Continue in good health and like us, join us, follow us and what ever else there is.

"EAT EVERYTHING, IN MODERATION."

Copying someone is flattering because it shows they want to be like you. But sometimes it can misrepresent a person, company or product. Several of our clients / friends brought to our attention that another trainer was using our before and after pictures to sell their product. They are selling a diet program and online training, using one of our current BAER Fit trainers, Jill Smith, before and after pictures from when she competed. The other trainer, Miranda, is a former BAER Fit trainer, who I trained to be a personal trainer and to compete in figure. She has since left and started her own thing. In Mirada's ad that she is promoting, by using Jill's and her own before and after pictures, she is inferring that they did the diets and training programs that she is selling. They did NOT do that. They both used nutrition/diet plans designed by myself, and training programs designed by me and BAER Fit. Yes, both of them won trophies when they competed.

This is just to inform anyone that sees Miranda's ads, that BAER Fit does not indorse, nor are we affiliated with Miranda's business, diet or training programs.

The short scoop on Protein!

I have been asked by, and talked to several clients and friends about the macro nutrient protein. So i wanted to dispel some of the myths and provide you with facts so you can make more informed and better choices as you take more ownership in your new life! At Baer Fit

First what is Protein?
Proteins are made up of building blocks called Amino Acids. There are 22 of these Amino Acids - some can be manufactured by the human body, but 9 out of 22 Amino Acids must be consumed in the food we eat. These are called "Essential Amino Acids".
Proteins in food come in two categories: COMPLETE PROTEINS - meaning foods that contain all amino acids (most meats contain complete proteins) and INCOMPLETE PROTEINS - contain some but not all amino acids (nuts, grains, some vegetables). This means that your best bet in getting enough protein into your day is eating meat, however if you are eating a large array of nuts, grains, beans, legumes etc. you may be getting enough.

BREAK YOUR CYCLE

How can I break the cycle? I start working out and eating right, but I can't seem to stick with it for more than a month at a time.

Does this describe you? You are not alone, this happens to most people not just after the New Year, but throughout the year as well. One very common issue is not having a clear plan with a clear goal. Going to the gym and simply winging it is no way to maintain commitment. You need a clear goal (lose 20 pounds, gain muscle, etc.) and a realistic plan for execution. Realistic, meaning - how many days you really and truly commit to exercising or making it to the gym? Don't plan for five days a week when the likelihood is really only three. Consistency is paramount to success. Keeping track of your daily or weekly progress will also help show you where improvements can be made.

When you are ready to really be healthy and live a long, fit and quality life...call me. I'm here for all of you.
