The BAER Christmas Party
Yes the holiday times are coming. Just 7 weeks till Christmas and only 4 weeks till the annual BAER FIT CHRISTMAS PARTY.
 

Imagine  a world where it 65-70 degrees outside in Dayton, the Bengals are 8 & 0 and we voted on legalizing dope! Yes it's getting strange out there.

SLEEP... BLISSFUL SLEEP
 
Can you catch up on sleep? In a way you can it's not 1 to 1 equally but if you have trouble for 6 nights of sleep, 3 naps will not be enough.
Our bodies are made to withstand short stressors, but chronic pain and sleep deprivation can't be handled very well; our moods get worse, we feel exhausted the list can go on.
Sleep helps body pain and depression. However if you encounter insomnia after a stressful day then try to create a bedtime ritual, this is very important. Give yourself time to wind down from your day. No don't text or get on the computer these are too stimulating. Read a book in a chair away from your bedroom. Use the bed for sleeping only.
Sleep is like tuning up your car. There do's and don'ts in regard to tuning up your car.
Alcohol metabolizes and suppresses our REM Sleep (however 1 glass is OK it's the 2nd and 3rd glass that is not.
Light will shut off melatonin, which regulates your sleep cycles, your body clock. Light before bedtime can interfere with your sleep cycles.

I don't know about YOU moms and dads out there, but EVERY one of my three girls came up with this announcement at the dinner table at least once during their pre-teen or early teen years. My first response was "That's fine, daughter-of-mine, but you've GOT TO LEARN to EAT MORE BEANS first! (NONE of them really liked any type of beans!) That usually put some different thoughts into their head. The only one I totally ignored was the one who follower her announce with "But I LIKE meat too much!"

The Annual BAER FIT Christmas Party
(well it is only 4 Saturdays from now!)
 Yes it's almost here. So I thought I'd start giving a little more notice so you can all get the date on your calendars.
 
It will be:

starting at 4:00PM till whenever,
at our BAER Fit training center,
60 W. Eleanor Dr.,
Springboro, Ohio 45066.
 
It is open to all clients, family, friends and whoever reads this. All you need to bring is a smile and a little joy.
 
Our hostess this year is the owner, mixologist, and my friend,
Michelle Abshire, owner of Crabshire Tavern on 725 in beautiful downtown Centerville.  
Yes this is my Friday afternoon stop on my way home, as many of you know. Michelle will be serving the wine and funny conversation. There will also be much food to enjoy.
