Takeout storage.  If you are accumulating plastic takeout containers, try to remember to bring one or two along next time you eat out - any leftovers can go into them and you'll be reducing your plastic consumption!

As we get ready to celebrate our holiday, and needy families have children home from school, please donate these basic food items:

 8 cans of protein (tuna, chicken)

 8 cans of hearty soup

 Peanut butter and jelly

 8 boxes of low sugar cereal

 8 cans of fruit or vegetables

 8 bars of soap or bottled soap

 Diapers sizes 4, 5, 6

 Gift Cards!!!!! 

Thank you for not bringing glass or opened items.

Looking for a new menorah to join your collection?  Need some beautiful candles for your celebration?  Or perhaps a gift for someone you love or like...  The first Chanukah candle gets lit on Saturday, December 24, so the WOB Gift Shop will be open for all your Chanukah needs on Sunday December 18, from 9 - 11:15 am. Time to roll up our sleeves and plan inspirational, educational and hands-on activities for the community-wide Mitzvah-Plex and Men's Club Pancake Breakfast, January 22, 9 am-noon.

BarTY wil be in Manhattan with Midnight Run

BarTY is currently collecting donations from Barnert Temple members and anyone who would like to support this organization.  They will go to various stops to distribute donations and food to people in need.
Please drop off any of the items listed on the flyer (click here for the flyer ) in the Youth Lounge before Friday, January 13.
New Calendars For 2017

Calendar We are still collecting new calendars for 2017 for the inmates at Bedford Hills Correctional Center. 
The efforts of the Barnert Temple Congregation last year were so appreciated by the beneficiaries.  There is a basket in the Temple Lobby.
