In order to work properly, registers and other heaters need to have space to send out their heat, so don't tuck them behind sofas or draperies.

Enjoy good friends, good food and good music with our Chanukah in Asia theme (Chinese, Japanese, Thai food).
Open to all adults of all ages - you do not need to be a member of Men's Club or Women of Barnert.  Cost $25 per person. To keep the cost down we are asking volunteers to bring desserts.  Please E-mail Susan Kuller at susankuller@optimum.net and let her know if you are able to bring something. 
We will also be collecting food donations to go to the Center for Food Action.  Click here for the full flyer.

Shabbat Service and Potluck Supper
Friday, December 4, at 7 pm
Shabbat CandlesJoin us for our Shabbat service, followed by our Potluck Supper.  If your last name begins with A-K, bring a salad or side dish; L-Z, bring a main dish.  Please plan on bringing enough to serve 8 to 10 people.  Food should be "kosher style," that is, no pork or shellfish and no mixing of meat and dairy in the same dish.  Women of Barnert will provide the desserts!  RSVP to Natalie Cohen at ncohen1847@barnerttemple.org

To Enter the Latke Tasting:
Prepare your favorite recipe at home, and bring to share with others.  Prizes will be awarded!

To Light Your Menorah:
Bring your menorah and candles - we'll light them together!    
To Participate in the Potluck Supper:
- If your name ends with A-M, bring a main dish for 8.
- If your name ends with N-Z, bring a salad or side dish for 8.
Food should be kosher style - no shellfish or pork, no mixing meat and dairy in the same dish.
- If you are participating in the Latke Tasting, and bring enough latkes for 8 people, that is your contribution to dinner.  Other than latkes, which can be reheated, food should arrive ready to serve.
-Dessert will be provided, so please don't bring a dessert
