Green Tip for the Week

Can the Cans

From canned pet food, gradually switch your dog or cat's diet to dried foods packaged in large cardboard or paper containers.  They're lighter, saving on transportation costs and energy use, and the packaging is less resource and energy intensive (and can be added to your compost pile).

Here's Your Chance to Vote for Justice,
Equality and Democracy in Israel:
Vote for ARZA in the World Zionist Elections
Today, Israel is at a Crossroads.
Your Vote Will Make a Difference.
As Reform Jews, we share a commitment to egalitarian worship, a wide welcome to those who wish to embrace Judaism, and a united Jewish People.  A vote for ARZA (Association of Reform Zionists of America) in the World Zionist Elections provides a voice in Israel promoting these values, supporting women's equality, and the basic rights of marriage, burial and Jewish Identity.

Women of the Wall has been working for over 25 years to provide social and legal recognition of our right, as women, to wear prayer shawls, pray and read from the Torah collectively and out loud at the Western Wall.
