Touchdown-Worthy Talking Points From Team JAB
Admit it, you only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials! Fear not, JABBERS, here are five facts about the Big Game that will impress your friends at this Sunday's party.
- This year's game, dubbed the Bro Bowl, will be the first time in history that two brothers face off against each other for the championship title. Harbaugh brothers, Jim, 49, coach for the San Francisco 49ers, and John, 50, coach for the Baltimore Ravens, will battle each other this Sunday.
- The 49ers are going for their 6th Super Bowl win, last winning in 1994.
- The Ravens are going for their 2nd Super Bowl win, last winning in 2000.
- This will be the 10th Super Bowl hosted by New Orleans, and the first since Hurricane Katrina. This ties them with Miami for the most hosted Super Bowls.
- This year's ticket prices range from $850 to $1,250, but coveted seats are now being sold in the secondary market for an average price of $3,195!

Miami Mom Makes it Big Time!
From Team JAB Congratulations to Susie Taylor, Miami-based Founder and CEO of bibbitec, on her debut appearance on Shark Tank. Be sure to watch her present bibbitec's Ultimate Bib to a panel of judges and potential investors. Susie turned a typical "mom" experience into a great business idea when she designed a high-quality, multi-tasking bib after a particularly messy plane ride with her children. We met Susie when we were finalists together in the Miami Herald challenge in 2009. We wish her lots of luck as she seeks further support for her venture. Watch the episode on Friday, February 1 at 8 pm ET on ABC.

Championship Bean Dip
Chae Haile, JAB Miami North Editor
Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
1 jar (8 oz) chunky salsa
1 package (8 oz) shredded Mexican cheese
1 can (3.8 oz) sliced black olives, drained
¼ cup scallions, sliced
sliced jalapenos
tortilla chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a spatula, spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a 9-inch round cake pan. Gently spread the refried beans over the cream cheese layer. Pour the salsa over the beans and cover with cheese. Garnish the cheese with black olives, scallions and jalapenos.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown and bubble. Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
