Dear JABBERS: Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love it because it's not about gifts, but about simply appreciating what we have.
More than any other holiday, Thanksgiving is about enjoying the simple pleasures: time with the people we love, delicious food (lots of it!), football, and most importantly, celebrating the good things in our lives. And isn't that just the perfect way to start a season of festivities?
 This year my extended family will visit us from Texas. In our family we love an excuse to pull out the fine china, and I know I can count on my mother and my aunt to create a beautiful, magazine-quality dining table with silver, crystal, candles and fresh flowers that will rival the flavor of the feast they will prepare. (My sister and I have big shoes to fill someday.) And as we do every year, we will all gather around the table holding hands before dinner to reflect on all we have to be thankful for. JABBERS, I am thankful for you, and for all you do to connect with each other and help build this wonderful community. Without you, JAB would not be here.
I hope you each enjoy a peaceful and memorable Thanksgiving holiday, spent with people you love and filled with friendship and laughter. Thank you for all you do, JABBERS.

We're just two days away from turkey day! Here is a delicious side, courtesy of JAB Founder Boo Zamek, that is sure to complement any Thanksgiving table.
"In my family, one of our favorite Thanksgiving side dishes is corn pudding," says Boo. "We love it because it is representative of this holiday, it is sweet, and complements the other sides - not to mention turkey - just right"
Corn Pudding
¼ cup sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons salt
6 large eggs
2 cups whipping cream
½ cup butter, melted
6 cups white corn kernels
Combine first 4 ingredients. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, whipping cream, and butter. Gradually add sugar mixture, whisking until smooth. Stir in the corn. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let stand 5 minutes.
