Opening day at the market was a great success. We want to thank the Needham Bank representatives, Eric Morse, Senior Vice President at Needham Bank, John Bulian, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, and Moe Handel, Vice Chair Board of Selectman for coming out to welcome the market to the new location. Also we want to thank the shoppers for coming out and supporting all of our local venues. We have another fun market day this Sunday so make sure to stop by again!

 This Week at the Market

This Sunday is our Children's Day. The first 20 parents with their children will receive $5 in farmers bucks. Visit the managers tent to pick up your farmers bucks. (The farmers bucks must be spent on Children's Day)

We are excited to welcome two new vendors to the market. The new additions include Harriett's Bakery and Ackermann Maple Farm. Harriett's Bakery specializes in brownies, cookies, muffins, pies, and cakes to name a few things. All of Harriett's products are gluten-free and absolutely delicious. Our second new vendor, Ackermann Maple Farm is joining us from Cabot, Vermont where they boil the purest Vermont Maple Syrup and Maple Butter. They will have plenty of samples to share. Please stop by and say hello to these to wonderful new friends of the Needham Farmers Market.

Returning Vendors this week include  MacArthur Farm, Neighborhood Farm, Lilac Hedge Farm, Big Sky Bakery and Bagel Land, Susie's Baking, and FUNdamentally Nuts.

We will also be joined by non-profits Needham Community Farm, 2Seeds, and guest artist Artist Silvia Quiroga.

There will be another music performance sponsored by Not Your Average Joe's Kitchen and Bar. This week's musical guest is jazz artist Sandy Orensteins band, The Farmers Market Jazz band.

Lawn Signs

Help us get the word out about our new location and hours by hosting a lawn sign. Simply reply to this message, with your name and street address. Signs will also be available at the market. The yard signs can be up for a max of 60 days under Needham's Sign By-Law. Thereafter, they can be put up again the beginning of September, a reminder will be emailed to you.

Thanks to Our Sponsors

Several local businesses have stepped up to provide the Market's start-up funds for permitting, licensing, publicity, and supplies. The Market's  "Big Tomato" sponsor is  Needham Bank. Other sponsors are Dedham Medical Associates, and Louise Condon Realty.

Thanks to all our volunteers and supporters!

See you at the Market - Behind Needham Bank on Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00pm!
