NAIFA-Jacksonville's Deanna Brown, CFP, CDFA of Ullmann Financial is Selected for NAIFA-National's "Four Under Forty Award"

 Advisor Today magazine has recognized four financial advisors with the "Four Under Forty Award," given annually to four outstanding advisors who achieve excellence in their profession by or before the age of 40. The advisors will be profiled in the September/October 2014 issue of Advisor Today, which will be distributed to attendees of NAIFA's 2014 Career Conference and Annual Meeting in San Diego in September.
Advisor Today, published bimonthly by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, solicits nominations of NAIFA members with successful careers and strong commitments to family and community.
"We are proud to recognize these rising stars in our industry," says Ayo Mseka, Advisor Today's editor-in-chief. "The 2014 recipients of this award are hard-working and dedicated NAIFA members, with an unwavering commitment to professional excellence."
The 2014 Four Under Forty Award recipients are:
At age 15, life took a tragic turn for Deanna Brown and her family. Affluent and living in the Northeast, Brown's father suffered a serious accident that left him unable to work for a year, and his wife in unstable health. With no disability income insurance, the family business closed. While living on welfare and food stamps, the family of five relocated to Jacksonville, Fla., where they eventually rebuilt their lives. Such life lessons instilled in Brown a passion to help others prepare for life's unexpected occurrences with sound financial planning. At age 37, Brown owns her own business with $269 million in assets under management. Her company, Ullmann Financial Group, was named the "Premier Advisor" in Northeast Florida by Jacksonville Magazine's 904 for the second year in a row.

Angela Brown of Principal Financial Group - North Central Florida Business Center, Jessica Dreicer of Ullmann Financial, Jeremy Pratchard of New York Life, Nathan Rogero of MassMutual and Philip Rogero of MassMutual were among the selectees of the NAIFA-Florida's 2014 40 Under 40 Top Advisors. Click HERE for more information. A panel of judges chose 40 under the age of 40 in Florida who have demonstrated business success and significant community involvement. The judges also considered the nominees' commitment, visibility, diversity and overall impact on the region in selecting the winners. The 40 winners were honored at the 2014 NAIFA-Florida Annual Conference on June 21 at the Delray Beach Marriott during a special presentation.

 Congratulations to Cheryl Canzanella, LUTCF of MassMutual was presented with the 2014 NAIFA-Florida President's Award for her extraordinary service to NAIFA at the Annual State Conference on June 21st at the Delray Beach Marriott by NAIFA-Florida's President James Koburger during a special presentation. Cheryl is one of three to receive this esteemed award. Two of which are YAT's including hers.
Cheryl currently serves at Secretary/Treasurer for NAIFA-Jacksonville and YAT Co-Chair for NAIFA-Florida.

Free NAIFA "Solutions Sessions" - YAT Focused
|
|
Each month, NAIFA will feature a different practice management topic and invite the first 50 young advisors that register to participate in a one-hour, interactive group coaching session led by Advisor Solutions Coach Daniel C. Finley. Bring your challenge regarding the topic to be discussed in a peer group setting facilitated by an experienced coach. The session will be taped and the podcast will then be archived on the NAIFA website for other interested young advisors to access. Both the coaching session and access to the archived session will be free to NAIFA members. These free teleseminar sessions will take place on the 4th Thursday of each month at 4 pm - 5 pm ET.
