Is Your Relationship Worth $35?

 July, 2013

Quote of the month

"If today were the last day

of my life, would I want

to do what

I am about

to do today?Whenever the answer has been "No" for too many

days in a row,

I know I need

to change something."

Greetings!

I hope the summer season is going well for you.  I know for my family, this time of year is about schedule changes, sleeping late (for some of us), and anticipating a fun vacation or trip of some kind. This year is no exception.

If you are lucky enough to have a more relaxed schedule this time of year, or even if you are not, would you be willing to do a little "check" on your relationship with your significant other?  Would you be willing to invest less time than it took to plan your summer vacation to be sure the most important relationship of your life is on track?

If you are, then read below about a new tool that I am very excited about and as always, please pass along this information to someone you know who would benefit from its content..

Sincerely,

From The Positive Perspective.......

As you may or may not know, I am certified as a facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich premarital counseling program.  By attending at least 8 sessions with me and completing this program, my couples can not only receive the benefit of having a more solid base for beginning their marriage together, they will also receive benefits from the state of Texas regarding their marriage license, waiting period, etc.  Yes, that's right, the state of Texas actually supports the program I offer.

Another part of the Prepare-Enrich program includes an assessment that my couples can take after they have been married for a while as a "check" to be sure things are going OK.  It occurred to me, why should I only share this assessment with my premarital couples.  Why could I not offer this great tool to my readers as well?

If you are part of a couple and your relationship could use a little checkup, please go to www.couplecheckup.com and at least read the reasons why you should consider taking this assessment.  With the divorce rate hovering around 50% and more and more couples cohabitating before even considering marriage, this is a great tool to help you discuss topics such as communication, problem solving, sex, finances, etc that you might not have ever brought to the surface before.  Discovery and discussion of these issues could be the difference between a long-lasting and satisfying relationship and one that is just "there".

Once you have completed the assessment, which costs $35 per couple, discuss the topics with your significant other.  If you need help in getting through some of the issues, give me a call, bring in your assessment and we can work on some of the tougher topics together.  There is also a book you can order to help you along with your discussions.

So, if you are willing to discuss some difficult but rewarding issues with your significant other, give it a try.  I am here to help if you need it.

Looking at the issue of improving your love relationship can be rewarding, if you look at it From The Positive Perspective........
