Quote of the month

"Today we bury

his remains

in the earth

as a seed of immortality.

Our hearts

are full of

sadness,

yet at the

same time

(full) of

joyful hope

and profound gratitude."

Passionate about

what I do

Greetings!

At a recent funeral, a poem was read by family members entitled The Dash by Linda Ellis.  The main idea of the poem is to encourage people to make "the dash" between their birth year and year of death to mean something.  Check out www.lindaellis.net for the complete poem.

Life is not infinite.  Make the most of every day, for you may not have a tomorrow. How do you want others to comment on your "dash"?  Make changes in your life now so that your dash says what you want it to say. So much meaning in such a small line.

I dedicate this newsletter to the most amazing man in the world - my dad.  He inspired me to be my best and to love and appreciate myself for who I am.  He taught me to give to others and to value family above all else.  May he rest in peace with God.

Reflect on this simple recipe for making a great life for your "dash".

Enjoy the information below and as always, please pass it on to anyone you believe may benefit from its content.

Sincerely,

Positive Perspective.......

Ingredients

1  Lifetime to live

1  Desire to make a difference to others

1000 Memories

Daily Appreciation of life

Infinite respect of self and others

Directions

Take the ingredient base of a lifetime to live
and mix it with a desire to make a difference to others.  Let that mixture rise in the warmth of your heart until your mid-teenage years.

Next, acquaint yourself with your life's passions and the 1000+ memories of a good childhood (hopefully) and fold them in a separate mixing bowl.  Set aside.

In early adulthood, take the first mixture and add in the daily appreciation of life and infinite respect of self and others that should be somewhat matured. Mix thoroughly.

Combine the two mixtures at the right time to create a person who can not only feel confident in who they are as an individual, but who can inspire others to be their best, accept that they are not perfect and allow themselves to make a difference in the lives of those they meet;  a person with a meaningful "dash".

For any ingredients that you do not possess, please give me a call and I can help you to use substitutes that will also work in this recipe.

May you use this moment to think about your future and your "dash"  From the Positive Perspective........
