Point Reyes Christmas Bird Count for Kids (CBC4Kids)
Saturday, January 11, 2014
10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join PRNSA for the 4th annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids (CBC4Kids). Youth and families will discover the fascinating world of birds, why we count them, and what birds can tell us about the health of the environment. Participants ages 7-18 are encouraged to attend the official count, while we invite children ages 2-6 for the Budding Birder walk. Families will be paired into groups with a local Bird Brain (instructor) and visit various locations in the park in search of bird life. Groups will count birds and report on their findings. This free event is offered in English and Spanish. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. More info...
