Dragon Happenings
Dear Imagine Families,
 This past week class pictures and individual pictures were taken. Parents seemed very happy that the newly negotiated agreement with Lifetouch provided the opportunity for parents to view a proof before spending any money.
Thank you to the many parents that returned the Family Satisfaction Surveys that went out earlier this week. We're anxious to have the surveys tallied, and the results will be shared with you. Congratulations to the parents of Lily Lewis and Josiah Bayona who won a Publix gift card in the raffle for families that returned the survey the next day.
The upcoming week is very busy. Book Fair is set up and the students are excited to browse and buy this week. Report cards will go home on Monday, and this week there is a governing board meeting, McDonald's Spirit Night, and we're planning for the annual FCAT Pep Rally for Friday afternoon.
Don't forget that Wednesday is an Early Release day with students dismissed at 1pm. Our staff will use the afternoon to begin developing plans for next year.

Book Fair is Coming!

The Imagine PTO is proud to be hosting another Scholastic Book Fair.
This Fair's theme is Story Laboratory - Reading Gives You Superpowers!
Please note that due to the Early Release on Wednesday the 10th, the time listed on the home page below has changed from 3:30-5pm for parent shopping to 1:30-3pm.

FCAT and ePAT
|  This week students in grades 3-8 will focus on reviewing test taking strategies and review since the administration of FCAT begins on Monday, April 15th.
Last year sixth graders took the Reading portion on the computer, and they will do that again this year. The state has also set grade 7 reading to be taken online, as well as grade 5 math. There is a practice test called ePAT for each grades 5,6 and 7. Grades 6 and 7 completed the practice in school last week, and grade 5 will do it tomorrow. Parents can access the same practice tool to understand what their child will be expected to do. If you check out the ePAT link, you will find lots of information. The resource tab also provides student tutorials that parents can review. The same ePAT format is used for end of course (EOC) exams like Algebra.
