Dragon Happenings
Dear Imagine Families,
This issue includes additional items and corrections from the issue sent out this weekend.
We have an opening on our governing board that we'd like filled by a parent at Imagine. We currently have one parent on the board and would like a second. See below for information about what the responsibilities and duties of a board member.
Our honor roll list had many problems: missing students, wrong category, etc. I'm going to delegate this task for next quarter so there's greater accuracy. My apologies for the omissions and errors.
Lastly, the ABC Action News representative was Meredyth Censullo. Her name was inadvertently mistyped. The yearbook has additional items they wanted to add to this issue also.
Happy reading!

Governing Board Opening
| Our governing board has 5 members- 2 are parents and 3 are from the community. We have an opening for a parent. The board has asked that parents submit a letter of interest that includes why you're interested, and the skills you can bring to the board.
Would you like to see the board in action? The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:45pm. Our next meeting is scheduled for December 11th, and they are public meetings.

Application Period
| It's the time of the school year when parents apply to have their child's name be included in the lottery that is held on February 1st. The application for the 2013-14 school year is posted on the website. All applications received between November 1st and January 31st are included in the lottery. Current parents with siblings entering kindergarten next year should also complete an application form. A seat is guaranteed for your child, but we need to know how many siblings are planning to attend. The e-mail address of all applicants are added to the newsletter distribution list. We welcome our new potential families, and hope you use the weekly newsletter as a way to get to know Imagine School.
