Dragon Happenings

Dear Imagine Families,

Pumpkins

Thank you to the parents that helped out on Picture Day this week.  Your help made the process go so smoothly!  Make up or retake pictures are scheduled for November 13th.

We start the week out with a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.  Mrs. Garcia has set up a display in the media center, and the students will put on a presentation in the afternoon. The presentation will showcase Hispanic contributions to the USA and share information about Hispanic culture. Olé!

We're so excited about the Fall Festival on Friday evening!  Last year's event was so much fun and a wonderful time for family. I look forward to seeing you at the Festival!

This week marks the end of the first quarter.  Report cards will be distributed on the 29th.

Bus 2 will be on the alternate schedule in the morning, but we expect it will be on the road for the afternoon run.  We're also ready to bring in our back up bus for inspection.  It needed a lot of work, but it's ready for the final inspection by the district.

The playground was closed last week so the drainage issues that flooded the play area could be resolved.  Pipes were laid underground, and we're open for some serious playtime this week.

Can Drive
FeedingAmerica
Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

The 7th graders would like to thank you for participating in the Feeding America can drive last week. We collected over 200 canned and nonperishable food items that will help children in their time of need. Ms. Lojo's 7th grade homeroom will be taking these items to Feeding America on October 19th.

Thank you again for your support.

HealthScreen

This is reprinted because of a typo in last week's edition.  Did you catch it?  Students who have a fever of 100 (not 110) should stay home for 24 hours AFTER the symptoms are gone.

We've had a lot of stomach bug and pink eye circulating.  Please keep your child home so it doesn't spread.
