"SoloSax" is an initiative aimed at sharing the rich and textured sounds of the saxophone. A unique instrument, its agility and versatility enables the execution of any repertoire, from classical to jazz, even transcending music of its time to perform 18th century baroque music, composed nearly one hundred years before the invention of the saxophone itself.
Laura Venditti started to study saxophone by chance. Very soon, she enrolled in the State Conservatory of Music "O. Respighi" in Latina, where she obtained a Diploma in Saxophone under the guidance of D. Caporaso and C. Carrano.
Laura subsequently attended courses in music arrangement with G. Monti and in contemporary music with E. Capurso. She is very active both as a performer and as a teacher, holding courses and laboratories for young saxophonists
