Stefano Bollani, an audacious, daring improviser and prolific composer and pianist, is one of the most gifted musicians on the European jazz scene, possessing an exquisite touch, a rambunctious sense of humour and an adventurous sensibility.
Besides his "historical" collaboration with Enrico Rava, Bollani has played with countless others, including Chick Corea, Richard Galliano, Gato Barbieri, Pat Metheny, Michel Portal, Phil Woods, Lee Konitz, Han Bennink, Paolo Fresu, and appeared on the world's most prestigious stages, from Umbria Jazz to the Montreal Festival, and from the Town Hall Theatre in New York to the La Scala Theatre in Milan.
