Istituto Italiano di Cultura (IIC)
Set in the heritage building of Elm Tree House in South Yarra, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura is the cultural Office of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Its mission is to promote Italian Language and culture, through a great variety of activities - language and cultural courses, concerts, talks in Italian or in English, exhibitions, film and documentary screenings.
The IIC collaborates with the major Australian institutions to organise cultural events with an Italian flavour. Each year the IIC is also a proud sponsor of the Lavazza Italian Film Festival.
A Library of Italian books and DVDs overlooks a lovely terrace; free wifi is available for students and members. All this and much more can be found at the IIC in Melbourne.

A position as temporary "Administrative Officer" is urgently in need to be filled at the Italian Cultural Institute, 233 Domain Road, South Yarra. 18 hours per week, excellent pay.
Requisites:
- Australian or dual citizenship (Italian and Australian)
- excellent knowledge of Italian (written and oral) as well as English
- experience as administrative officer (with references)
- accounting qualifications desirable
- able to work in a team
- pleasant personality, who can meet deadlines.
