The evening will commence with a first special launch of "World's Best Jazz Club - The Story of Bennetts Lane" (Major Street Publishing), a book by Dr David James about Melbourne's iconic jazz venue. The author, who is also a journalist, an accomplished jazz flautist and a composer, will be available to sign copies of the book, which will be on sale at a discounted price for the occasion.
