ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE MELBOURNE

|
Cari Soci, Care Socie e amici dell' Istituto Italiano di Cultura,
A warm welcome back after the holiday season! I hope everybody enjoyed a relaxing and happy time with family and friends.
During the summer period we haven't stopped at all, but have worked hard at the 2014 events program and at transforming the Istituto Italiano di Cultura more and more into the Centre of Italian language and culture in Melbourne.
The Istituto Italiano di Cultura (Italian Cultural Institute) is the cultural office of the Italian Consulate General (representative of the Italian Government) and its mission is to promote Italian language and culture through a great variety of activities.
Starting from the 1st of March there will be 2 Internet Points in our Library and Members of the Istituto will be able to browse through the daily news of 3 leading Italian newspapers:
La Repubblica, La Stampa and Il Fatto Quotidiano.
Free Wi-fi will be available throughout the building, so it will be possible to comfortably sit under new Lavazza sunshades and enjoy our leafy Terrazzo, while waiting to join one of our language classes.
2014 will be a great year to be a Member of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura. Please tell your friends to join the IIC as soon as possible, so that they can also enjoy all our
forthcoming events.
Vi aspettiamo!
Lina Panetta
Director IIC Melbourne
