Former National Party MP and Deputy Prime Minister, Tim Fischer is one of the country's most prominent ex-parliamentarians. His interests are broad and eclectic and he is the author of four previous books.
His new book, Holy See, Unholy Me, is a memoir of his period as Australia's first resident Ambassador to the Vatican (2009-12) and it combines almost all his favourite things: politics, trains, food, faith, history and Rome.
