Criteria
In evaluating the choices, emphasis is given to the leader's participation in and contribution to the chapter and region and/or ARMA International activities. The outstanding leader is also a person who has supported and promoted ARMA International objectives. Eligibility Leader of the Year must be a voting chapter board member or standing committee/task force chairperson. Individuals cannot choose themselves as Chapter Leader of the Year. Submission Content The chapter's awards committee/task force selects the Chapter Leader of the Year. There are no formal criteria by which to judge the leader as there are for other awards. The following is suggested criteria to consider in making the selection:
- Participation in chapter committee/task force work
- Participation in board work
- Participation in chapter meetings, seminars, or workshops ("Participation" is defined here as helping to plan, arrange or conduct these events, or serving as a speaker.)
- Attendance at chapter meetings
- Attendance at board meetings
- Assistance with the duties of another board member
- Implementation of a new idea or program to improve the chapter's activities
- Sponsorship of new members
- Participation in Region Leadership Team and activities
- Participation in ARMA International
