In just a few weeks, SOCM members and friends from across the state will come together in Nashville to collectively call for real solutions to real problems that affect everyday people. The theme of The People's Lobby Day, "Our State, Our Stories: A Better Tennessee is Possible," reflects the work our grassroots organizations will be doing throughout the day to raise our voices, tell our stories, and call for change.

The day will be filled with legislative visits, tours of the capitol, training opportunities, storytelling, demonstrations, a rally that will help highlight some of our issues, and more. We'll have the opportunity to learn how each of our sister groups is working to improve our state and the chance to share stories about what is happening in our communities.

Buses and vans will be picking up members from across the state, so let her know if you need a ride. Lunch will be provided.
