Keep Fracking Out of Tennessee's Public Lands

Are you concerned about fracking in the state of Tennessee? Are you concerned about public land being opened up to extractive industries?

On Thursday January 31st at 4:00 CST in Nashville the Executive Subcommittee of State Building Commission will hear an agenda item that if approved would allow a waiver of appraisal of mineral rights and it would be the first step in the process of opening up the Cumberland Forest to a research project to study the effects of fracking.

By taking urgent action now you can tell the Executive Subcommittee of the State Building Commission that you do not approve of opening up public land to fracking.

We need you to take this action now.

Please contact the following subcommittee members with the message that we do not want fracking on public land in the state of Tennessee.
