CALLING ALL YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
This conference will provide a forum for young professionals (YPs) from across the Great Lakes State to connect, build relationships, and exchange ideas around leading topics. The main focus of this conference is Inspiring Leadership.
Schedule of Conference:
THURSDAY
Kick off the 2014 Michigan Young Professionals Network Statewide Conference with a night of fun! Entertainment provided by Sweetgrass Productions, central Michigan's newest option for quality DJ service.
Emcee Bobby St. Charles will direct the evening festivities, which include welcoming remarks from Central Michigan University's Women's Basketball Head Coach, Sue Guevara!
FRIDAY Enhance leadership skills through the CMU Leadership Model presented by CMU's Dan Gaken.
Engage in educational breakout sessions to help you become invaluable at your work place.
Listen to keynote speaker Sherene McHenry talk about turning your dreams into your reality, and harnessing your passion and productivity.
Finish the evening with a "Night on the Town," Poker Run with other YP's from around the state!
SATURDAY
Enjoy breakfast and another education session on "Improving the Art of Conversation. "
Finish the conference with lunch and listen as keynote speaker State Rep. Kevin Cotter shares the keys to success, both professionally and personally.

This is the first time Mt. Pleasant has hosted the large and very popular Great Lakes Bay Regional Business After Hours! At this premier event, 800-1,000 attendees from the Saginaw, Bay City, Midland and Mt. Pleasant areas come together to enjoy delicious food and refreshments while connecting with business owners, community leaders and key decision makers from the Great Lakes Bay Region.
