Join us on Friday, February 22nd for our first 2013 Legislative Breakfast. A breakfast buffet will be available from 7:30-8:00 a.m., followed by legislative updates from Representative Kevin Cotter, Senator Judy Emmons, Rich Studley, President & CEO of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and
Frank Cloutier, Public Relations Director for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
The event will be held in the Ojibway Room at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. Admission is $30 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members per person and includes your buffet breakfast and access to local representatives for questions and answers. Seating is limited to the first 50 people to register.

5K Obstacle race
February 9th at 9a.m.
Are you ready to brave Michigan's brutal winter elements and have fun doing it?
Racers will travel through Mt. Pleasant's park system beginning at Island Park and finish at City Hall. All racers will receive a sweatshirt, hat, gloves, and a beer stein to commemorate their victory!
Don't want to race? Come to Mountain Town Station at 10am and watch the race unfold in front of you.
You can also be a part of this new event by eating out on Friday night. Four local restaurants, Italian Oven, Ginkgo Tree Inn, Ruby Tuesday & The Brass Café, will be offering specials with 10 - 20 percent of their proceeds going to H.A.T.S.
...or celebrate on Saturday night with a Pub Crawl in Downtown Mt. Pleasant from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
