A LETTER FROM MS. SULLIVAN
Dear Parents,
Congratulations to the graduating class of 2013. What a beautiful week of celebration and honors for them. Our Kindergarten had a wonderful farewell and transition prayer service filled with song, pomp, love and prayer. Thank you parents for your guidance of all our students and for your commitment to St. Raymond and Catholic education.
This week's Friday Flyer will be short as they are waiting for us right now to finish packing in the administrative offices so all computer, printers and other equipment can be shut down and moved for the summer. I will send a Friday Flyer next week with many new and exciting details and information about St. Raymond school.
Our new renovations to the front school office and entrance area have begun. New security and safety for your children, faculty and staff are becoming reality. The front office construction has officially started and will be completed in early to mid August. The ceiling tiles have been removed as well as furniture and we are holding tight to our desks until this day's end! We are very excited to kick off the path to our new front office layout. More details on the renovation will be included in next week's Friday Flyer.

The front office doors of the school (corner of Elmhurst and Milburn) will be closed due to the construction on Monday. Students will enter and exit the school thru the 1st/2nd/3rd grade doors and the 4th/5th/6th grade doors only on Elmhurst Road.
Thank you parents for your guidance of all our students and for your commitment to St. Raymond and Catholic education. It has been a good year of learning, fun, and spiritual growth.

Graduation Prayer
Father, I have knowledge, so will You show me now,
How to use it wisely and find a way somehow
To make the world I live in a little better place,
And make life with its problems a little bit easier to face.
Grant me faith and courage and put purpose in my days,
And show me how to serve Thee in effective ways.
So my education, knowledge and my skill
May find their true fulfillment as I learn to do Thy will.
And may I ever be aware in everything I do,
That knowledge comes from learning,
and wisdom comes from You.
Amen. |

The end of the school year is finally here! I'd like to give one last shout out to all of our fantastic officers, volunteers, and families who have supported FSA this last year. FSA also supports teachers and staff through our Teacher Appreciation program, new families through our Buddy Care program and funds the Cultural Arts programs through the money we raise each year. Thank you again for your support!
We hope you have a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing you next year!
