Access Copyright - September Update

Update on Access Copyright's transformation initiatives
New title search & permissions tool: A new and vastly improved look-up tool for education and corporate licensing customers was launched in mid-July. Licensees can now search our repertoire of over 100 million unique titles to see which publications are covered for print and digital copying. Customers can also request permission to copy beyond the terms of their licence, access bibliographic records for millions of works and discover other subject-related titles also covered under licence. This new tool is part of our commitment to make it easy for people to share and remix content while also rewarding creators and publishers when their works are used.

Check out the new tool for yourself here.

New Nominating Committee has started its work: A new Nominating Committee was elected at the 2013 AGM (held April 25, 2014) following the ratification of new by-laws and governance structure. We are happy to report that the committee's work is well underway. Comprised of two creator and two publisher representatives, two current members of our Board of Directors and our executive director, the committee is tasked with recruiting a slate of candidates (four in total) to stand for election at next year's AGM. >Read More
