What a busy year this will be for Emajae C., which is no surprise considering that every year has been busy for Emajae since the sixth grade. But this year will be an exceptionally active one for the Seguin High School senior who recently earned a national office in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, a career and technical group that promotes personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. | Seguin High School senior Emajae C. was recently elected national vice president of public relations for FCCLA.

Michael Pruitt figured the guy in the dark suit shaking hands with everyone was "somebody important." A politician running for office was his first guess. "Makes sense," is what Pruitt, who was registering his second grader for school, said when he learned the guy in the dark suit was the superintendent of schools.
